Melissa, produce queen, fell in love with a boy who left sketches of birds in the veggies. There’re plentiful gifts around this part of Humboldt county – like peace, hugs, and an audience for everybody. And when you consider the cheap avocados and the free and accepting attitude, I totally get why there’s lots to get excited about up here.
